KJW m9 vs WE m9

Postby kapow887 » Thu Jan 19, 2012 9:45 pm

I am considering an m9, and both of these fit in my price range. Do you guys have a preference? From what I have heard the WE may be slightly better, but I'm really not sure. There is also an HFC m9 but I've heard bad things about it. What do you guys think?

Faulty magazine catch design causes gas inefficiency and poor cycling. It wears out over time. Also, triggers have been a problem on the HFC's I've had, but I imagine others have had great experiences with them.

JewishNinja has had numerous KJW M9's and loves each and every one of them.

The KJW is a better clone of the TM design (they are all clones of the TM build) than the WE. Any of them will have the trigger spring break sooner or later, though my KJW is going strong with no issues for 6 years now. I wouldn't suggest the HFC as the rail makes getting a holster for it a pain and it is not as well made as the KJW.

Be sure to get a SERPA or Safariland for it (can be had stupid cheap on ebay) so you don't lose mags.

The WE, KJW, and HFC are all metal construction, just FYI.

However, I recommend KJW guns after owning one for seven years now.

All the HFCs I've handled (2, lol) have had really heavy trigger pulls.
I'm no gearwhore. I prefer "Connoisseur of Fine Tactical Garments".
