Purchasing green gas / propellants

Postby tingsoon1 » Mon Jun 18, 2012 11:25 am

It's been a long time since I've been airsofting, and I'm looking to get back into it. Quick question: Where do you prefer to buy your green gas? Online? Airsoft Outlet NW? Would buying a propane adapter be better? Any advice or opinions on the subject are appreciated.

i would say go propane. its 1/4 the price of green gas. more powerful. get a plastic nozel because when the metal ones get cold, they break and bend to the point that u cant fill the mag up. propane and green gas are basically the same except that green gas has lube. so my advice is a propane adapter and lube. (srry for the bad grammer im on my phone)

I use a propane adapter because propane, unlike green gas, is available at nearly every store. If you run out, all you need to do is go to your closest store that sells propane.

Any advice when it comes to lubricants for GBB's? If I'm going to be using propane, should I just lubricate the mag o-rings with silicone every now and then? I'll probably stop by AONW to pick up a plastic propane converter this week.
