Don't use real gun lubricant. They're not at all suitable for airsoft applications. Pure silicone only, from an airsoft store, not a hardware store.

While the G&G GBBR is a cool idea, it is just a drop in GHK gearbox. If you have an M4 AEG already, just get the GHK kit. My advice would be to go into AONW and fondle them. Evaluate the long-term cost of things like repairs, magazines, new gear to streamline your rig, etc.

http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?c ... s_id=33187 its a KWA MP9 GBB. I'm pretty sure KWAs can use propane

I use Frog Lube in all of my guns with great results, I wouldn't use any other firearm lubricant though. If you're not going with Frog Lube or Drylube, then go with silicone.

I do have a very worn out G&G Combat machine. It is 3 years old, has a stock that's about to fall off, and a cracked lower receiver. I just want to try out the GBB. Then I can just drop in the gearbox from my old gun. :)
Still thinking about the KWA M11. Really want to see a review on the G&G though.

I doubt the G&G is going to be very good in terms of longevity and reliability. I don't have much against G&G, just I don't think their GBB system is going to do well. Especially when it costs almost/as much as the MP7 with 2 magazines.

G&G GBBR: 140 bucks. KWA MP7 with 2 mags on Evike: 250 or 255 bucks. Did you mean the M11?

The G&G drop-in gearbox is definitely planned, but it won't come out until March. I saw finalized production models at AirsoftCon the other day, so if you want one... they're probably going to be available soon-ish. I just made a post with some thoughts on them here.

@KennewickAirsoft: I think akira meant G&G GBBR + 2 mags would cost the same as a KWA MP7.
