WE Bulldog Compact Disassembly

I won a WE Bulldog Compact in a Box of Awesomeness and am wondering how to disassemble it. The gun does not come with a manual, and I can't find anything on how to disassemble it. I've switched the takedown lever down however it seems to have no effect. So can anyone tell me how to disassemble it?

Remove the magazine from the pistol, then flick down the lever. After that, lightly pull the lever away from the gun (perpendicular to the pew pew area) until you hear a click. Then pull the slide forward.
