I was talking about the MARPAT part of the discussion. I know that's not MARPAT.

Apparently you. That is NOT Marpat - how many times do I have to say that? And both the MCCUU or whatever its called is made out of MARPAT...as well as FROG uniforms.

Rentax wrote:Proper does not make a FROG shirt, they make a "combat shirt" which is a near close copy of the origional FROG shirt, without the added fire protection.

Therefore that is not a FROG shirt, that is not Marpat, and that was probably made by propper.

Ugh, stop talking. Propper does make FR Frog shirts, how do I know this? Oh right, I have handled them.

What Catch22 said regarding the camo pattern on the guys uniform being AOR2....it is AOR2. You can tell by matching it up to AOR2 that is posted on particular web sites dedicated to our professionals. I'm new to this site but NOT new to the world of modern military gear, equipment, types of operations and the use of particular camo for particular regions..etc. On the side, I also buy and sell high-end military and LE gear. I would trust Catch22's info and his word as it is very easy to tell that he is "in the know".

And +1 to what danneskjold said. I have bought high-end military type items and will continue to buy items from danneskjold. He knows what he's talking about (-:

Both Propper and Crye have made and do make the actual FROG (Flame Resistant Organizational Gear) uniforms. A person can view many of either brand FROG uniforms being sold on e-bay.

Those of us who have experience in the military and it's current gear type...etc and those persons who simply sell and buy SOF gear and other military gear on a regular basis, know there gear pretty well...I would say VERY WELL. Actually, many of the buyers and sellers are current military, ex-military, current PSS/PSD/PMC, ex-PSS/PSD/PMC, current LE or ex-LE individuals (-:

Just a small thing on the side, no photos yet, but apparently DEVGRU just solicited an order for some Multicam gear, specifically a bunch of Crye's new vest with a couple of goodies. No word on whether or not they're actually going to buy it, but there is the potential.

Old news - there have been photos of NSW guys in Crye kit for a couple years now - including a couple stuff popping up on eBay.

You are probably talking about this: https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity ... e&_cview=1

They are looking at buying the JPC...

The JPC is actually totally different..the lightweight CAGE would be the Crye Plate Carrier (CPC).

The JPC is a whole different beast..
