Congrats snowman. You somehow managed to turn $500+ worth of lid and bits into something that looks like a hobo turd.

A little bit off topic... I was pretty stoked when I saw the Ops Core replica helmets @ Evike.com. Youtube videos are already posted. So far I'm hearing good stuff about it. Can't wait for mine to arrive...

Finally got the paint the way I wanted it. Only took like 4 coats. Added bonus of lots of paint is that the smooth helmet is now nicely textured.

Just wanted to drop in here and make a comment on the stropes/beacons. For the most part our ISAF SOF and TF guys regardless of nationality typically carry their strope/beacon in a pouch and deploy it only when they need too. The ISR feeds I see here I've yet to see someone have a strope on, we can see the little IR patch just fine. They've made even smaller ones that clip on top of a 9volt battery and are 1 use only but its only a strobe. The beacon I'm signed for I throw in my left side pocket or into a spare M4 elastic mag pouch as I personally HATE shit on my head. Smaller silhouette = smaller target :D Also for night vision on helmets we've moved mainly to the plastic "diamond" mount as its lighter and lower profile and doesn't rust.

Also the paintjobs on here are amazing, makes me want to get mine custom painted!
My sword runs at 450 FPS, try to out run that! 35+ Sword/Knife Kills and counting.

Turned out better than I had expected.

EDIT: Used a Pin and the rail things to attach my Emerson MSA Sordins to my Helmet (so much more comfy).
