Call the surgeons and tell them to take the day off, because I'll be doing all the operating now.

I use the Revision Desert Locust and it fits well with the IBH helmet. The retention strap helps out in keeping the goggles from slipping. What problems do you have with your goggles?

@Amos, nice job with your helmet! Like!!!

Funny.. I'm using the same goggles, and the don't give me a full seal to my face when wearing them with the helmet. So I opt for some glasses, but I still like the full seal protection.

Perhaps it's got something to do with the helmet adjustments?

Ballistic PASGT.
Tan FlakJaks.
My ugly face.

Any input as to what I should do with it (the helmet, that is)? Paint, or leave solid?

Paint it. You'll be glad you did. I had a couple that I didn't paint for a long time, and they look way better after painting.

I was wondering about that; thinking something that actually touches the back of my head.

Any recommendations?

You could of course get a cover as well. Covers are better for camouflage purposes because they have no shine.

And definitely get an Oregon Aero. I've had one in my PASGT for two years and I don't regret it in the slightest.

Off their website, they appear to be just about that much. You are, I assume, referring to the strap kit, not the padding kit. Together, that will be ~$80.

I guess what I'm saying is:

"Is it worth it to get both, or would the strap kit be enough?"
I'm fairly comfortable with the suspension in it now, but am getting a "rocking" while running due to the chinstrap. I guess the more fitting question would be "Would the pad kit or the chinstrap be a better choice to fix the rocking of the bucket atop my head?"

Switch, does your PASGT have the head suspension system, or is it the one with padding?

Thank's much, Sir. I'll be looking into one of those.

Poebot, it has the suspension system; leather band, circular tie-together.
