KWA Glocks and BH! SERPAs

I'd just like to throw it out there that in my experience, KWA Glocks DO NOT fit smoothly in REAL STEEL SERPAs. The SERPAs aren't wide enough. YOU CAN SAND THEM DOWN to fit.

Does anyone else have experience to back this up?

Actually, I have precisely the opposite experience. I have a Blackhawk OWB Serpa CQC that fits the 17/21 Realsteel Glock, and my KSC 19 and 17 both fit perfectly.

Hm, interesting, is it a KSC or KWA? Mine were both confirmed KWA. Maybe KWA reinforced them a tiny bit?

Also, I'm talking metal slide versions. My plastic slide KSC fit quite well if I remember right.

i have an old kwa glock 19 and it fits perfectly into my real blackhawk Serrpa with out any modifications

I had a Serpa for a full size Glock. The 18C I had (Full size, Metal slide, old KWA) fit just fine. Then I got a 19 (compact, metal slide, old KWA) and it scratched the hell out of the slide.

Ivan- you can expect scratching. Our weapons use crap paint on pot metal instead of the quality Glock uses, and the Serpas hold on pretty darn tight.

I had a Glock 26 that fit in a Glock 26 SERPA and a Glock 17 SERPA.

I didn't really care about the scratching. The point I was attempting to make was that my KWA G19 was wider than my KWA G18c, because it scratched the 19, but not the 18. The retention screw was tightened for the 18 and completely removed for the 19 as well. As such it might be your gun, your holster, or both.

I've used Genuine KWA M19s (two), and a KWA M19 with a KSC G19 metal slide on it, and all three fit in both my Blackhawk! SERPA holsters. Perhaps your holster was not genuine?

my KWA M17 fits in my SEPRA. i dont believe it scratches but it is a nice snug fit.
