That's... completely not the point of a red dot. The chief benefit of a red dot is quick target acquisition with both eyes open in close quarters engagements, typically inside of 50 yards.

I run a Vortex Sparc which runs $200, it's light weight, durable, and has a life time warranty. Most Airsoft red dots don't seem to like recoil as I've to gone through 4 red dots over a year (2x G&P and 2x no name).
