I was eyeballing this and being a complete [airsoft internal] noob, was wondering if this would be going to upgrade my JG enhanced.

I guess mostly that it's a JG enhanced. But I guess if I shouldn't touch the internals til' something breaks, then I won't. Only thing wrong I guess you could say is that the single fire is a odd one, but no complaints.

Don't touch the internals until you must. My JG lasted for a year and a half before it finally crapped out on me.

Can I touch the externals?

Just kidding, I was actually interested into putting a Dboys metal body on it, would that be able to fit? I guess you could say I'm running a odd external setup in which I have a MAGPUL MOE hand guard on and I'm not sure if get rid of the old plastic light gray (ugh) body and want to replace it with the Dboys body, that it will be able to ft back on again (It's a custom gun from ASGI).

If you do get a metal body, you'll need to get a 1 piece hopup chamber too.

Yet another common misconception. You just need to drill for the screws on a two piece.

I tried fitting a KWA chamber into a Dboys body, and it didn't work... Can you explain that a bit better?

two piece hopups have the lower part held in by set screws on the lower receiver. This allows you to swivel the two halves apart like on a real Armalite. If you want to use a two piece in a metal body, you'll have to drill some holes for the set screws, but you still can swivel the halfs. That destroys your gearbox.

How do you split the halves in the other kinds of bodies? Mine have had pins holding the back in the body holding it in...

Exactly. Those are for reinforcement of the upper body to lower body "weld" when the gun is assembled. Plastic bodies have tabs which the rear receiver pin goes through to hold the body down.

Since metal bodies are not meant to be swiveled off, they have no use for the tabs, and the tabs would tear up the sides of your gearbox like they did in my TSD HK416 until I ground them off. Thus, the pins were implemented so you could slide the upper receiver off and when you put it on, they serve the same sort of function that the tabs used to.
