The heat shield is what makes that the coolest AK ever.

I really want that metal upper handgaurd.

Where'd you come up with metal the upper handguard? I'm diggin that in particular. Overall that rifle looks perfect! Good work!

Thank you, The metal heat shield was taken from a old Bass Guitar Amp Grill.

I cut it out to the proper length with a hack saw, and bent and folded and filed away the sharp edge's. If you look close enough, The holes on it are hex's. : )

I noticed the Hex's, I think that's why I love it so much. Great looking job!

When I borrowed the AK I accidentally kept a rod of some sort. Next time you see me, you can have it back.

Awesome job, chap. Also, thanks for telling us how you did that upper. If I ever get an AK I'll make something similar.

It uses' stick type battery's, i would love to use the large type battery's, but my guns ROF is pretty nice with a stick 9.6 , not to fast , not to slow, right around 700 -750 RPM.

Very nice!

re the stick battery thing. I have the 2200 mah stick battery made by real sword. I'm liking it alot. Next time you see me with my AK remind me and we can see if it fits in your gun. Have not used it up on the field yet
