Not at this time. I'm not an electrical engineer, and this project seemed to push my limits with a soldering iron... even though it was fairly straight forward what I needed to do. I'm hoping to get together with my cousin who is a robotics engineer for Mk2 in the future.

Argh! I have plans for something like this for future games down here, I'm just getting the parts together for it..maaaan, everyone posts the cool ideas before I can get them put together *mock pout*
Good job on the prop/inert item/nogoboom replica.
I talked to the state police bomb squad LT. down here, he's based in Central Point (Lt. Couch, Central Point Bomb Squad, OR State Police) and after an hour on the phone with him, he said it was ok to transport an item like this if it was in a locked case, in the trunk of your car and had 'INERT PROP' painted permanently and clearly on it.
If I get pulled over, and for some reason they search the car and find it, I have them call him at his office and he will come on site to verify it is an inert item so they dont blow the a$$ end off my car.
You might call your local Or State bomb squad dude and explain what's up with the item and you might get a similar response.
(I did this previous to the case prop idea because I had a fake cell phone with wires and all the trimmings hooked to a red painted paintball tank with biohazard stickers on it - better safe than sorry)

I was going to paint the wood black, but then realized I'd have to remove all the electronics from it, which is a pain in the a$$ sine there are about 50 wires in the back, and all are soldered together somehow.

"Someone set up us the replica prop replica" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Looks good, looks like it would make for a good attack and defend objective based game.

Gunny, as many people like to say, the variable alphabet soup agencies might/do patrol this board, so, in that sense, I want to make sure that everyone knows this is a non-functioning prop.

But yes, that doesn't sound as cool, and in game play it'll be referred to as the device which it resembles, but is not.
