Painting

Postby malik » Sun Sep 26, 2010 7:55 pm

Hi, I am thinking about trying some custom painting. What kind of paints should I use and with(if any) what finish? Also, I am open to ideas on how to do Digi, multicam, and BDU style painting...

Rustoleum for metal stuff, Krylon for not-metal stuff.

Just make sure you practice on cardboard or something first.

You don't want to change your mind about painting when you are half done with your gun and cursing that all the videos you saw made it look easy. (did it myself the first time I attempted painting a gun) ;)

I'm going to practice on an extra JG stock I have...

How would I create a digital paint scheme? Any ideas?

The paint that most surplus stores carry (some cheap camo paint) is kind of janky... The color is off and the quality is low.
