i am taking my classic army sl8 (ca8) and turning it into a lmg (please no bad comments about that) i am going to put on a metal ris handguard a drum mag by echo 1 a magpull afg forgrip a madbull tight bore and im geting the g36 c rail and get a red dot any thing else i need

Slappin accessories, that can readily be purchased off the shelf, on a gun is in no way a custom project. And the g36 is not a good candidate for a lmg because it isn't really in use. I, as a event promotor, will not let the mg36 on the field

The "MG-36" is almost as much bullshit as putting a STANAG conversion onto a P-90.

No military service uses them. No military service issues them. No military service has ever issued them.

If you want to build out a custom LMG, fabricate a MG-4. That's a custom project. Slapping crap onto a G-36 to try to make it look like a LMG just to get to run box mags is a cheese-dick move.

Oh, and the SL-8 is a semi-auto only hunting rifle. Trying to claim that you can build one into a CSW is even worse than building a G36 into an MG36. That's like claiming that my remington 700 is now a GE M134 minigun.
