Custom M79/Grenade launcher project.

I looked it up and it seems fairly simple. This is a very basic plan that I am basing my project off of, I will plan out measurements at some point and display everything I come up with here.... For now all I have to work with is hardware, pvc, and enough pine for the body.

Is that a Musket pistol?

You need the stock man.

I was hoping to have it more compact, otherwise I would build one with a longer barrel and full stock. Does barrel length affect accuracy with grenade launchers? (Airsoft ones, obviously.)

Depends on what you are shooting. If you are just using it as a giant shotgun, no. But if you are using something like a nerf football, yes.

If you are shooting Nerf footballs, the mini vortex's use a 2 inch barrel. For the M203 shell to power the launcher, which is what i assume you are using uses a dremel-d 2 inch fitting that goes into the barrel that secures the 203 shell in place.

You need a better drawing of how you are actually going to make the trigger mech. It is one of those things that seem simple but can be a pain in your a$$ if you don't plan right.

Here is an ugly looking one somebody before me made... Check out the links in the video description, this really helped me.
