Custom Silencer/barrel extension

So I bought a metal lathe years ago and messed around with trying to make flash hiders for oh about a week....just too busy and my dad was trying to teach me....Anyways 5 years later I have actually used it again and made something useful for me. I have been working on my Ak74u a bit, really going for that rebel thrown together and repaired with what was available look. I think I have achieved it pretty well. The last touch was this silencer/barrel extension. Made it to the length I needed exactly.

So its was my first attempt and I learned a lot. Will do the next one totally different and slightly the same Worked well being my first one and not having such a nice finish to to IMO

Just be careful with silencer, even airsoft ones. The BATFE description is pretty broad and you don't want to get yourself in trouble with the Feds.

In short;

Its a mock suppressor not a Silencer. Its MOCK. NOT REAL. You must make this really clear. The ATF are idiots and will hunt you down for the stupidest shit.

Pictures fixed. Yes it is a MOCK suppressor. The inner barrel comes right to the end of it so really it is just a big fat outer barrel extension for looks.

I realize it's mock but, as an example TM silencers are considered illegal by the BATFE definition. Just didn't want you to get in trouble because they are idiots. I was thinking about this the other day actually. Why do they prosecute people who commit a crime through a technicality, because the criminals hide it, the good guys are usually open about it and it's easier to prosecute. Anyway, back to your custom work. That's pretty nice, a little finish sanding and some paint and you have a nice piece.

Well I want this look, I am going to be making another and will take time and finish it nice. I just wanted this to have that thrown together look. Basically unfinished because it just needs to work look, like it was homemade
