Postby Kevobud6mm » Tue Aug 23, 2011 5:54 pm

hey i was wondering if anyone knows how to make a bipod sturdy enough to hold an ak47. but my ak doesnt have any bottom rails and i wanted the bipod to kinda be attached to the outer barrel. I saw some on youtube that were pvc put it was thick and looked retarded so i want one that is like metal

I made one a few years ago. It worked over all, but it wasn't nearly as useful as a bought one. Try this out.... http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... cts_id=855

I had one attached to my outer barrel, right against the gas block and it was fairly sturdy. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a plastic barrel.
My father once told me, "Some times all you have is a bullet and a prayer, don't miss."

Unless you have reason against buying one a quick Google search will solve your problems.
Even if you do you can see how the real ones work to help you make yours.

The one recommended by quigly will work, but mcnair's option will help you blend into your surroundings and is much less expensive.

for almost any assault rifle, this is the cheapest and most effective bipod you can use:

bipods belong on sniper rifles and support weapons.

Although that's improper form for an assault rifle, here's how you really do it:

why would you need a bipod for an AK? it's just extra weight when you can just use Beran's option

AK47's are not heavy. Just deal with it, seriously. If it's that bad, play less video games and do something outdoors... If it's that bad get a sling or sell it and buy some plastic MP5 or something.

Edit: And it looks like you even have a plastic AK replica. They are not heavy...

LOL, by that logic if people put bipods and drum-mags on any assault rifle that would make assault rifles heavy weapons.

Wait a second....
