Falcon, what kind of range are you getting with the insulation bb sabots?

Falcon, it appears that you didn't catch me when I stated I have designs already made. I was just asking about this particular thing. Thanks anyways though.

~100ft with a LOT of bbs at about 20 psi. Not sure how safe it is to go higher.

Is not sch 40 rated @ 300 psi? I run 60psi with water for days on end with no problem. water or air, psi is the same. I know many farmers who use sch 40 for their compressor systems. (i'm assuming its sch 40 pvc). caution is wise, as long as you properly cure your joints, you should be good for much higher psi. 100 psi would give you a pretty good safety margin.

check out these engineering specs.....you are solid

I don't plan on getting anywhere near the 158psi operating pressure. I will have a 125psi pop valve for duel use(safety, dumping tank pressure). So as long as I make sure that the pieces get a good bond I should be safe with that idea? Good to know.

Over pressure valve is always prudent. Let the bonds cure 24 hours before pressurizing. ( read glue / solvent cans label ) Keep us posted on what you do, I'm interested and want to see working units to give more ideas.....
