Snow Wolf upgrade assistance (for a friend)

I hope this is the right place for this.

Ok so one of my friends here bought a Snow Wolf Berret for 350KD I wont give you the conversion, but lets just say getting thigns here is EXPENSIVE. It doesn't perform well as many of you probably have figured out. He in his spare time did some research and we are down to two options.

1. Do the instructional rebuild as posted online, youtube, and in forums. Seems like a legitment idea, but my tech skills are horrible, and the airsoft field here is rather new. They deal with about 95% gbb and have hard time working on anything AEG (I am trying to change that).

2. Find some place who sells a comparable gearbox, or someone who is willing to do a build for a resonable price. Be it a company, or a citizen of the US that did a conversion check on what he payed for it.

I will be doing the barrel switch, which is stupid easy, but will be listing what he has seen part wise. Anyone willing to chime in on ideas, suggestions or alternatives would be appreciated.

What would you recommend. This will be our first build.... Well probably my first build, and I know next to nothing other then basic mechanics and videos. Also replacements parts are a 2-3 shipping ordeal.

6.04 is not very tight for a tightbore. Everything else isn't important.

Yeah I was thinking about a 6.01, although my experince has been 6.03s which I had no issues with. I have been told the 6.01s can cause feeding issues, and currently Kuwait has limited high quality ammo.

Ah, we'll if you're limited on quality of ammo that makes sense.
