Newer to airsoft! Introduce myself

Hey AP, my name is christian and I'm 24. I have had my aeg for several years but have only used it a few times. I have been wanting to get out to a public event, but havent yet. I'm out of vancouver, wa. How can I get involved without having a team or without feeling akward.I'm very excited to finally get involved! Thanks AP.

Come out to Camp R&R this week end to CAG monthly training. Check out our team and have some fun learning new things. We are getting ready for Low III. Directions are on the web site http://www.camprandr.com Look under event calender for more information.

If you just show up and don't talk, and wear ATACS, we'll think you're in Delta Force.
And like Mr. Stubby said, this weekend we're going a-camping + airsofting. It's for all skill levels and we'll be taking new players aside and giving them the basics if you're interested.

I cant make it to the camping this weekend but the June 4th sounds cool. Thanks for the advice everyone. I know there are probably alot of former military personel, but I come from law enforcement so hopefully I might be able to share some info and knowledge with some people. Look forward to it all. Thank you for the warm welcome!
How or what are the requirements to start a team, or join a team?
