Hello! We have a M.O.U.T. field open in Klamath Falls!

Postby Fullbird1970 » Wed Jul 06, 2011 7:23 am

Hello fellow airsofters! My team, Strike Force Recon, and I are opening up our field for public use. We have a couple of acres and it's set up for M.O.U.T. operations and skirmishes. You can see pictures at phoenixcoairsoft.com and the field is growing ever weekend as we put up more cover and structures. We currently have several small buildings, a 6 room CQB kill house and the crashed helicopter as well as lot's of low cover. Please come out and check us out!

Yes. For the most part it's 400 with .20's. However, there are exceptions on a case by case basis. Bottom line is safety first. A good example is one of my personal AKs runs a little hot so if I use her, A: I usually run semi-auto and B: I always give an extra 20 - 25 feet of distance to ensure safety.
The only use for a pistol is to fight your way back to the rifle you shouldn't have set down in the first place!

Ok let me clarify! LOL! Inside the buildings it is pistols and shotguns only! 330fps avg. You can shoot OUT of the buildings with rifles but must adhere to the bang/surrender rules for those approaching. There is plenty of space between cover as it is a M.O.U.T. facility with CQB elements :-)

Exceptions on a case by case basis can only lead to future drama and headaches for you. People will phony pony about favoritism and fairness. You, as the owner or operator of this field, might want to follow your own rule.

Problem is AKs aren't DMRs.

Could be. I mean, usually the gun just has to fire under certain limit and be semi only right? Yeah, using an AK as a DMR would be weird, but I don't think there should be a rule against it unless it's a strict milsim game or something.

That's the very reason why I do not like DMR rules. People just use them as an excuse to up their FPS.
