Hey guys im new to airsoft pacific. And new to airsoft. Iv been trying to find a team for a long time. And iv been wanting to get into a battle and really get to know som people in airsoft. So if someone from airsoft pacific could contact me back and.tell me what it takes to join the team that be great! Thanks guys!

First, Congratulations! You've joined the community of Airsoft Pacific by creating a profile and posting on the boards!

APST (Airsoft Pacific Strike Team), is an 18+ invite only team. You have to prove your worth, show up, and not be a girl to join their ranks...(some say you also have to be an asshole, but there's one or two who get a waiver for that).

As for getting in to airsoft, the best thing to do is buy a gun and some gear, and show up to some games. There's something going on pretty much every weekend. Don't worry about joining a team until you find out who you fit in with and like running alongside.

Most of the game threads will provide either directions, an address, or a link to directions on how to get there, as there are multiple fields in various locations. If all else fails, you can probably find someone to carpool with if you offer a little gas money in exchange for a ride.

For starting out, just get something comfortable for your body, and eye protection is a MUST. Face protection of some sort (be it shemagh or face mask) is advised but not required.

If your into getting into the sport but are on a budget you can't go wrong with ALICE gear and Woodland. Local surplus stores are a good place to start.

Also taking a little time with your posts will help keep people from busting your balls.
