Ladies and Gentlemen, may I say in advance, it is a pleasure to meet you.
Airsoft to me is an excellent recreational activity. It gets me outside (unless it is an indoor match!), I spend time with friends, and I'm still allowed that familiar and beloved sensation of competition.
In terms of experience, I'm a founding member of the Corvallis Tactical Airsoft Group (CTAC), a small, thirty plus group of recreational Airsofters in the Corvallis/Monmouth area, and we generally get together in relatively small backyard games. I've been into Airsoft for nearly six years, two of which were spent in the 'spring backyard games' and four in the larger backyard skirmish games. I'd classify myself as relatively understanding in Airsoft Philosophy, and moderately experienced, but there will be always more for me to learn.
So nothing too large, YET, and here on Airsoft Pacific I look forward to getting into a more diverse range of game types.
As far as my equipment goes, I currently possess:
Echo1 Red Star Covert AK-47 (and whatever tactical accessories that I happen bring along)
ICS Ak-74
Elite Force M1911A1
GF 5A2 (Essentially an Mp5, Don't think I'll ever bring this one to the out-of-the-backyard-games)
And one particular Gas Pistol that I can't recall the name nor brand at the moment.
I'm also a surplus nut, so I'll always carry some gear of sorts, even some spare if needed.
Besides the United States Marine and the US Army Green Beret, my favorite military unit would have to be the Russian Spetsnaz, and I'm currently looking to build up a Spetsnaz like rig. So, if you ever spot someone running about the field looking in such a manner, chances are it's probably me.
I look forward to getting out there and Airsofting with you lot as soon as possible.
