Hello AP

Postby N_Tracer » Thu Aug 16, 2012 4:36 am

hello everybody!
As I see there is a tradition to start a hello thread.
So, my name is Damir and i'm from Kazakhstan.

Firstly I want to sorry for my english, there might be some mistakes, please don't throw eggs and tomatoes in my face...

Some time for history...
I'm playing airsof from november of 2008. My first team was "Wild Boar" (I gues you will find this name funny, but in our country it sounds cool :D ). And the aim of the team was the imitation of Soviet Union army took part in the Afghan war in 1979-1989 years. And that's why my first AEG was TM AK 47. It was used. And first owner of this AEG placed to it metall body and new 6.03 barrel. It did not shoot very well, but it was cool because other airsoft player had chineese AEGs.
This year I joined new team. It's name "Lead Sea-Bob" (I know that it sound much funnier that first :D ). Now we wear SEAL uniform. You can see me and my uniform here http://airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=37296&start=30.
There you can see the patch of "Wild Boar" team. I wear it now because this team is no more.

My rifle is in the gallery. But I spoiled it by shitty painjob I made. That was my big mistake =). I wont show you how it looks now...

That's all for now.

Welcome to AP. If you still have your Russian kit there's people & teams here that are really into that stuff. Hope to see you out at some games. :)

Welcome to AP dude! :D
All the way from Kazakhstan? That's wicked! (Your English is excellent, by the way)
I envy your full Russian kit. I myself am only beginning to collect a Russian load out.

Anyway. Have fun!

Thanks everybody!

Actualy sometimes I use GoogleTrabslator :D
And what about my russian kit... I have it only on photo... There are several other teams wearing the same kit. And I sold it to them, because I need money to make a SEAL Impression.

Here some pics for you

If you realy interested I can try to buy some "sweet candys" for you =). But this stuff is very hard to get even in Kazakhstan.
And the way from Kazakhstan is not so hard by internet :D.

Damn dude, that was a sweet-ass Russian kit you were running. So sad you sold it. :(
Oh well, I hope you eventually build up some other impressions in the future. It's fun to be the non-US/NATO teams sometimes. :D

You could have fooled me with that 'Google Translate' business :P

That'd be really cool of you dude! You don't really have to purchase anything for me as of yet, but if you could actually find a couple things for me, I'd be more than interested and happy to discuss things with you.

And besides, even if there were no 'sweet candy's', helping another fellow out with building up their kit is always good. the first national bank of 'The Bear' is open to friend and foe alike!

Okay!
First of all tell me what kind of kit do you want to make?
Is it modern russian spetznas or regular army kit, or maybe it is historical WW2/Afghsnistan/other?

There will be no problems to get modern uniform. I have seen some on e-bay =)

In "My last acuuisition" there some interesting russian things you buy)
Also it makes me smile when I hear how you name it. Are you interested in the translation of their names?

For example "M88 Afghanka/Pisochka" Pisochka - means that the hat has sand color. Pisoc - sand.
"Type II Lifchik Chest Rig" - Lifchik - means womens bra. It names so because it wears just like bra.
"Soldatskaya ushanka" - means soldir hat with ear protection from cold. ushi - ears.

I'm definitely aiming for a couple of Spetsnaz sort appearances.
1. 60's-70's Spetsnaz. That whole Cold War appearance just sends shivers up the spine.
2. The Modern Spetsnaz look is cool, I will not deny it, and I wouldn't mind building up around that.

But between the two, the 60's-70's Cold War Spetsnaz is the big one.

And, I myself am trying to learn Russian, so if you could offer helpful tips, message me on the subject, if you have the inclination.
I'd tell you to be careful. It's not the Tank you need to fear.
