Settling in Oregon

Postby Seanatron » Fri May 25, 2018 8:40 am

Hello all, my name is Sean and I have been playing airsoft off and on for the past 10 years. I haven't played in 3 years since I've been stationed overseas, luckily I am separating and moving to the great state of Oregon near Hillsboro. Hopefully I can get situated quickly and start playing. Any suggestions you all can provide about the area would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Best places to buy gear at, places to live, good food. I'm going to be completely new to the area, and working at the Hillsboro airport.

Welcome home Sean! :D
I don't know about places to live in the area, but maybe a few other who live out that way will chime in.

If you like indoor, Oregon Airsoft Arena is located a rock throw from the Hillsboro airport.

A great place to meet folks is Camp R&R's monthly game. They are in Gales Creek about 30 min from the airport. Details are here: calendar.php?mode=view&month=06&day=02&year=2018#Camp R&R June 2018 Game

I know a few member of AP and Phantom Fury will be there ... so if you able to make it ask for us so we can say hi. Your also welcome to run with us, if you looking for some battle buddies.

What gear are you looking to buy? I have many things for sale and am local to Montavilla. PM me and maybe I've got something you're interested in.

I am all set up. Been to a few games and the community is pretty good. Way better than Arizona and California. Thanks for the offer of buying your stuff, however I need to start selling some of my own stuff.

I have been to, camp r&r, the swamp, and action acres, and the indoor field in Hillsboro. I liked the swamp quite a bit.
