I do run my sidearm often per game, specially on MOUT scenarios, since one of the rules inside buildings is single shot only. And cuz there's no pratical way to run a G3 SG1 indoors, i run the Mk23 alot in CQB.
Even in the woods, got some heads down with the HiCAPA until mates got my a$$ safe (and for that matter MINIMI roxxx!!!!!)

I don't use mine very often during outdoor games. In CQC the pace is usually fast enough where if the primary starts acting fussy in any way, I reach to the SafariLand and slide out the G19.

I've used my sidearm once when my primary wasn't down. I was going after a kid with a bolt action, he shot and missed, and right as he turns to run my mid-cap runs dry. So I pulled out my M9 and shot him (in the back).

Other than that, I've used it when my primary was down with fair to middlin' effects.

I mainly use it my sidearm in CQ enviroments for escorting detainees. The only other time I really use it is for when the fit hits the shan.

I use it all the damn time. Both indoor and outdoor. Of course I only run std's and sometimes drop it to low crawl up to a ditch/bunker/etc.

Over the years I've drawn my pistol once. Definately worth the hundred bucks I paid for it....

I drew my pistol at the skirm on Saturday because I ran out of ammo (1500 rounds goes sooo quickly). I didn't get to shoot it though because Bad Karma loaned me some mags.

I've seen Neil dive rolling (with an absolutely INSANE grin plastered on his face) down a hill (under fire) with nothing but his G19-and he got kills.

Fear this man.

I use to only run pistols...

I tried to use mine once, thinking it might be more effective (in a outdoor location), 12 shots later I switched back to my g3.

I loved to show it off though.

I do believe that this past Saturday I got more kills with my Socom than with my M4. It's always good to practice with your secondary for when SHTF.
