I almost always have my pistol loaded and at my side. But I never use it at games. The real purpose for my pistol is to give me something to play with when I am board.

I hardly ever use mine. I only use it when I am playing a pistol only game or something like that.

If I need a quick gun and do not have the time to reload my rifle in close range I will go to my sidearm.

I have used my sidearm less than 10 times, but I will always keep it on me. It works well for escorting detainees in CQC or when there is a person only a few yards away behind a log. But I've learned that you don't really appreciate your sidearm until you primary takes a dump during a game.

I sometimes think a sidearm brings out the best in players, it has with me. When my primary has gone down and I have switched to my sidearm, I have never been more motivated to move and draw fire for my team’s sake as I have then. With a sidearm you can no longer rely on the accuracy, range, and volume of fire that your primary provides, so you must move more and get closer.

On a similar note running with a sidearm can provide entertainment to all. Not only is it entertaining to you, that 5 enemies are now focused on killing you instead your better armed allies behind you, but it provides entertainment for everyone else involved also. The enemy is entertained, because your constant movement attracts their attention like a cat chasing a laser and they feel like they are chasing an easy kill. And your teammates are entertained because it allows them to move, giggling unseen through open terrain, to positions where they can easily pick off the enemy who is intently focused on you.

I use my side arm alot, as the guys who saw me making runs can attest from this last skirimish. It's the better of my two weapons, and since my POS AK-clone broke at the game I had to use it. Although I got more kills with it than with my primary.

I use my side arm often. mostly because something always happens to my primary. Battery dies. gears lock up, etc. something always happens. or like Neil, I need to be extra nseaky and mobile, I move to the glock19

I see your comments but for wgt it is truly nothing compared too a r.sack about 90 lbs. plus; so cry on people about wgt. In a serious note my G3...inspired by the s.a.w. concept has a box of like 5,000 rounds; so the odds of me going dry is slim too none. "thet call me T.S." go on R.W.! I was Air Force or as Jar-heads call it foolishly the chair force.

wgt = weight r.sack=rucksack

1st sentence means 'I've carried heavier...'
2nd sentence means 'My G3 has a box mag and I can't run out of ammo'
Can't really decipher the 'T.S.' and 'R.W'.
He was in the Air Force (i.e. Chair Force) and he can't tell you where he is located because it's classified.

So, pretty much, in addition to being incompetent, he also is incapable of spelling, and is in the Air FArce?

Every day, someone finds a new way to amaze me with their stupidity.

Thanks for the translations, guys.

I dont know I make more heads duck when I pull my 8mm Revolver out than when I have either my M14 or my AK

Then again its an 8mm and its much scarier than a girly 6mm.

But man I wish I could find cheaper 8mm's.

(But on the topic that just arose I dont trust the ChairForce. They kill to many Marines to be trusted.)
AK-47 or bust.

An G-14 qualified? I talk to a guy who's G-14 About once a month... And every time he tells me where he is. So I'm not sure anyone who tells says their G-14 online is really what they say. But that's just me. ((espically if they are claiming it on an Airsoft site that would be vurtually un-trackable back to you...))
