I guess I should give my whole story sense it is interesting.

I the early mounths of 2005 I was showed a pair of spring pistols by a friend. I then pulled together my pennies and bought a Crossman spring M4 in April. Latter on that summer I bought an EBB and a mini electric. By early 2006 I wanted to be a snipxor so I got a Super 9. Then in spring of 2006 I bought an LPEG AK. I wanted to find a field to play at so I went to google. I then found a link to AP that talked about Strike Zone. I then signed up, posted, almost got banned, then started attending games. Then I bought my CA AUG. So I made the leap from uber noob to serious player in a matter of mouths. And the rest is history for me.

Ditto. Met Thoma there too.

I think I had my CA M15A4 for all of 2 months at that point and had been blasting my buddies with Double Eagle M4's and EBB Desert Eagles prior to that 8)

Fury can testify to that awesomeness :D

LaCenter 2003... had to borrow a gun, ammo, a battery, pretty much everything except for my cloths, beret and goggles...

Good times.

Started with paintball in '88 with the guys I worked with at Strategic Simulations. That was a fun summer. Played outdoors & indoors. Later, in the early 90's, we formed at paintball team at Dynamix and competed for awhile. Then everyone but me moved on to different game companies. Played sporadically until the late 90's.

In '03, my neighbors attacked me with spring pistols. Couldn't believe this airsoft stuff. They shot up the neighborhood, plinked my car, shot me in the a$$ when I was getting the paper. Decided to retaliate. Started a neighborhood arms race. We won. My daughter and I built a bunker in our front yard out of tree limbs. Hunkered down behind it and banged away with springers and minis we snagged off of EBay. Later, my wife and I would take the kids up to the local cemeteries and play against each other. My son was almost two at the time, and he loved to shoot those minis. He was four when he got his first MP5. Daughter was seven when she got her first CA. We've turned into a pretty heavily armed family, though the kids don't play as much now that we use the higher FPS guns, though my son played some night games with us over the summer and took out one of A Co., 2-162's soldiers twice!

During Katrina in '05, heard from the Bravo Co. guys about the more serious side of airsoft. Started getting into it more as a result.

'06, finally convinced one of my best friends that he needed to try this stuff. He's a pacifist. Turned out he was born for airsoft, and our group started coelescing around us last summer. Went from minis and springs to G&P and CA, hosting our own games, playing at StrikeZone, serving as tackling dummies for Alpha, 2-162, and building machine gun nests on the field we use. Hope to host a few more games in the next year, which will give Ben a chance to tattoo my forehead again. And a$$, for that matter, damn you!

I remember that. We should get Nukeproof to come to games again.

I got my first gun (TM AK) on my 13th birthday.

My first OP was rouge element.

My first AP game was OP:KP24. The whole thing from the road trip on was a religious experience, to say the least. Damn I loves me some airsoft...

Oh, and I hate it when stupid people make my obsession look bad. Case in point: one of my co-workers brought a cheap springer P229 on Bridgeport property about a week ago, and he was shooting people in the chest and the a$$ with it. People with no eye protection, who were not playing airsoft. Just random passerby-types. Customers. And he's a security guard. People freaked out, to say the least. I politely asked him to stop, then I told him to stop, then I took it and stomped on it. He's pissed, but not nearly as pissed as I am. f**kin' idiot... I'm surprised PD didn't get involved.

SSI rocked. Great place to be in the 80's. Got to work on Pool of Radiance that first summer, plus Typhoon of Steel, Battles of Napoleon, etc. One night the whole company went and climbed a mountain. We hung around a fire swapping stories and listening to music, drinking adult beverages.

Dynamix was like that in its early years, too. I remember in '91 a guy came by to be interviewed by the company's art director. He and the two co-owners & everyone else were drinking beers in the back room. I led him into the chaos and has jaw just dropped. Got interviewed by his future boss, longneck in hand.

That's cool.
I didn't get into wargaming stuff until '97 or so.
I'd play whatever I could get my hands on, I remember SSi being involved in a lot of it.

When I was still in mother's womb I magic'd up myself a CA 249. I full auto'ed and blasted my way out of her and in to this world in a flurry of plastic fury. Once I learned to walk I was poppin caps in all the other toddlers at pre-school, and ever since I've been poppin' and lockin' on all you mofos.
