Would you attend an Airsoft DVD Screening Party?

Postby Matt » Fri Oct 05, 2007 1:12 pm

So I've been considering the idea of holding a screening/release party for the CQC6 DVD. It would take place in a McMenamin's theater, 99% likely in the Portland area. There would be a ticket cost involved, which is why I want to gage interest. Sounds like in the least there would be a room fee plus a minimum food/beverage requirement. But with Pizza and Beer, I doubt we'd have a problem reaching the quota.

The idea would be simple; show up and eat/drink with your buddies and watch some CQC action on the big screen. We'd time it with the DVD release so you could pick up copies of it there if you wanted. Perhaps we could throw in a few extra bloopers or special features, maybe even some oldschool stuff.

Sound off if you're interested! If I can get enough interest to end up costing us about $5/peron for the tickets, to me that would be well worth it.

Also, this isn't just for CQC attendees or actors - everybody will be welcome to come.

If it's at McMenamins, is it going to be 21 and up? Or is there seating for us little kids?

Underage should not matter. The theaters are 21 and over after 9pm. For a specific group engagement, this requirement may change. I am not clear on the legal junk, I would find that out if I decide to approach them. If enough folks under 21 are interested, I'm sure there's a way to work it out.
