I voted "Organization, units, squads, platoons" because there wasn't "your mom " option. :(

Option 1...

It comes down to who you are playing with and against. If that's taken care of, then the emersion into the story can really develop. The greatest storyline will make little impact if the opposing force does not call thier hits, does not adhere to the game rules, does not immerse themselves into the story.

Sometimes a big shootem up is nice, but a detailed storyline with mission critical objectives layed out in a simple to follow plan is the best. Trigger time is crucial, but can be overcome with "superb" story and emmersion.

Reaching a "superb" emersion and game storyline becomes more problamatic when you are dealing with...

1. Greater numbers of players
2. Younger players
3. Inadequate location

I think an ideal game would be capped at an 8 on 8 squad player capacity, a well layed out and properly mapped location, limited use vehicles (with very strict story application), 2 long missions (am and pm), strict uniform requirements, 18 and over (maybe 21 and over), mag limits, and a very strong yet well hidden administration.

These are (to me) the core of a good OP. I may just impliment these in my next OP.:)

So... Where's OP: Enduring Horizon II?

TITS is ready to cook shrimp in game again.

I voted the organization one, but I believe that there are many things that factor in a smooth and fun, but tactical game. Most have been said, but still, people who call their hits, listen to the Co's and NCO's and to have the games have sufficent/experienced admins who can organize and lead the corresponding team.

So what is that suppose to mean? Since I am a "younger" player I could make it problematic? Keep in mind that some young players dont fully understand the concept.
Even so, if I ever attend an OP where I am part of the problem, of any kind mind you, get the bawls and say something, I am sure I have enough mental capacity to comprehend and fix/change whatever it is I am doing wrong. I do understand your reasoning for it but remember the furute of airsoft lies in the hands of those younger players, and in the hand of the veteran players to teach them properly and not deter them from playing the sport.

You make my point for me...

Its the lack of respect on the field of the rules, other players, and admins.

I do understand what your trying to say, but 18 and above is a good rule for large OP, emmersive type games.

What I look for in a Op, or any game for that matter, is a plot or story that I can get behind!
Location is relatively important, but i will learn to use the field despite whatever set back I encounter

call you hits, use real cap magazines, and its all good!
