the camping does it for me, but honestly thats not part of the game itself, well the hangover does become part of thegame, but not exactly a welcome one  so id have to say organization.

of allthe games/ops ive been too i had the most fun when playing with/beside other teams that were organized, less cluster shazaam, moar tactical gangbang

I'm going with squad organization, allthough I am a fan of vehicles and I'd like to see them used more. It brings in a new play dynamic.

I know I haven't been to many OP's but have a ton more fun when you know exactly what you need to do in a mission, and aren't confused by too many variables.

The event organizers have to make sure that all their ducks are in a row. Chrono station manned and supplied correctly, safety marshalls policing participants as they enter the field.

I can have a great time no matter how well my team does but nothing kills the good time like a hot gun or a group who have suddenly decided they're invulnerable. I've been frustrated a time or two calling for an admin over and over only to find some standing around joking with each other.

I've never gone to an OP and complained about the location. Whether it's Estacada, Splat Action, or the Timber field, what I always love seeing at games is an in depth story, a well organized scenario set up, and balanced out teams.

what would make OPs totally killer?

a chopper...or two...that might be fun ;)

but then we would need rocket propelled grenades, and fake crashes and big explosions...im being totally serious

above all else, I would have to say immersion factors into my playing experience more than anything.

I voted location. Organization makes a very close second in this race. Despite all the problems that an OP can have with various aspects, if I can roam around in a big beautiful field with my team and do battle, I can forget about the rest of it.

Organization provides many things. It keeps the games rolling, provides some level of immersion on its own, and cuts down on the asshattery.

All the points people have made are quite valid I must say.
