My two cents

If a city where to shut down it's garbage dumps, recycling centers or any other waste management facilities, where would our trash go? In the parks, streets, schools or any place that we love and want to keep clean? I say keep off topic forum, because it gives us a place leave our eTrash. Without off topic all the stupid shit would go to the other forums. Then where would we be?

This is what i say, Allow all users to see all the non restricted forums, However when you have less than 50 posts only allow them to post in newbie area, that area would have all the stickies in it as well just as a reminder. and make OTF like real steel where permissions have to be given to go there!

I often wonder the same thing, only to realize I'm more of a lurker. I don't often post here on AP. I couldn't really get into the way everyone here posts. (The way members treat other members, joking or not, etc.)

Anyway, about the garbage dumps (good analogy, by the way), the only problem I see, is that often times, "garbage" from off topic over flows into the other forums anyway.

If you could bring about a "What happens on Off Topic, stays in Off Topic," policy, that'd be great.

Again, just my two cents.
