I grew a mustache and was no longer allowed within 3,000 feet of a high school or Chuck-E-Cheeze, so I joined airsoft to reunite with Juice Machine.

I joined for MilSim. I was interested in Paintball but was dissatisfied with the amount of dishonesty when you were actually visibly shot. MilSim Paintball was more lucrative, but I wanted better looking weapons. When I started, it was springers, and a friend of a friend told me about redwolf airsoft. Checked it out, saw some awesome guns, and became a huge milsim fan.

I love the goals, the camaraderie , the struggle, and the adrenaline.

I joined so I could live out my childhood GI Joe fantasies and learn at least a little about tactics and firearms. It blows my mind ho much I actually have learned. DRAT has come quite a ways from playing springer wars in the forests above Philomath.

I never made a conscious decision.
I was 12, (wow) bored, and my brother talked me into getting mini electrics.
The addiction grew from there.

So does that make springers and mini electrics a gateway drug?

It's as close to the Military as I'll ever f**king get. Realistic training with realistic weapons, and I can actually shoot people.

That, and there's no "don't ask, don't tell" law. >.>

Awesome episode!

I really like first person shooters (and still do). Airsoft was a way to move away from the screen and do it. That and I love guns :D

With a real gun you can only shoot your friend and enemies once. With airsoft you can shoot them again and again and again :D
