Sling help at SniperZden

Postby JustinK » Mon Feb 08, 2010 1:02 pm

Hello all, quick question:

I've got this 3-point sling-
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=1285

And my M14

I'm a lefty. I'm wondering, (because I can't get it working with the AGI video, or the one on youtube), will there be someone at SniperZden this coming Saturday who knows how to attach the sling to the M14 for a lefty? I can't seem to figure it out at all.

Figured I'd ask the wisdom of AP and hopefully come up with some gold.

Thanks

Are 3 points even meant for long guns?

Yes, they are, if you look at the link I posted, the sling is on an M16. I'm sure there are different size ones, but the one I bought is for longer rifles.

If I'm there I'll show you how. You will need the sling keep on the front of the M14 to have a loop though. If it's just a nub it won't work.

Sorry if I seem ignorant, is this a loop or a nub?

i'm a lefty. well i'm a righty but shoot lefty, and i find it easier to just not use slings. with a sling it says, "airsoft750 with a gun", with out a sling it says, "airsoft750 and a gun."

Well it is a nub. I don't know how to explain it to you but you rather push the sling onto the nub instead of tying it through the loop.

...what?

i know, my logic is complex, i don't want to explain it, to much for you to remember at one time. any ways you need to modify your rifle to get the sling to go on the left. i don't like slings. besides it only stresses your arms when your running around with it. when your shooting people will naturally rest it against there knee or whatever is there.

Wow. Confused. Anyhow. :D

All I know is that when I have a 12 pound gun I want more than just my tiny biceps holding it up. Maybe with a plastic gun from wall-mart it isn't so bad. ;)

ANYHOW. Back on topic. Still wondering if there is anyone brave enough or with the brains to put the sling on.
