AP Seller: JDT

Postby Sleepy » Fri Feb 12, 2010 12:06 pm

Anyone have any experience with this guy? He signed up in January, made three posts on his first day, all in an intro thread, and hasn't posted anything since. He started 8 sales in the span of about two days, hasn't sold anything, and isn't responding to PMs.

Anyone bought anything off him?

I'd say those are pretty obvious warning signs to steer clear of that seller, Davey.

Yeah, I'm just making sure. He's got a WE 1911 parts gun I need. Kind of a bummer.

Well, damn. Looks like I'll need to post an ad buying WE 1911 parts guns. The more the merrier.

depending on the parts you need, ASO has or can get a lot of WE 1911 parts.

I've also got a bucket of WE1911 parts that Beran has the frame for.

Everything else is still there (Give or take anything that has fallen out.)

I might have to make you an offer. Are you coming to FW3? I'm picking up a couple of busted 1911s, I plan on stripping them down and cannibalizing them to build a complete one, but I think that both of them are missing a few parts. Would you be willing to bring the bucket, I'll pay you cash for parts.

Sleepy, the one with the hogue grips only needs a new spring plug and barrel bushing to work... so I wouldn't strip that one down, just replace those 2 parts and you're golden.

Yeah, but I have plans past making the Hogue one functional again.

I'm also ripping the slide off the rail model to put on my old 1911, I'm taking the slide off my 1911 and putting it on the Hogue model for my wife, and I might be taking the trigger and hammer off the rail model to put on my 1911. I'm further planning on using the rail model, its bad sear, and the Hogue slide as part of a project. There will be YouTube.
