My opinion on the matter is that although I believe that spelling and grammar are important things, and help to grease the internet war machine that is AP, it is also not necessary to have sixteen jackass kids be rude as shit about spelling and grammar. At the most, it should be a response to the question and a "hey, your grammar or spelling is upsidedown up dude, here's why:" Just one. Not six thousand other posts related to not the OP question, but rather this handful of grammatical mistakes.

A little bit of kindness goes a lot farther than belligerence in terms of solving problems and encouraging people to do better instead of harping on them for not doing things exactly right.

Just trying to play Devil's advocate here; hasn't Ashton (Pickles) improved a great deal already? I remember when he first began posting, his typing was completely unintelligible. People were more than justified in being grammar Nazis; he needed it. Now, his writing, whilst still not being perfect, is easily understood. Yes, he may come off as somewhat uneducated, but he has already expressed a lack of regard for how he comes off. Therefore, we're pretty much unjustified in continuing to give him shit. As long as it's not making his posts incomprehensible, it's no hindrance to the rest of us.
