CA highcaps=for the suck

Postby Patrick750 » Sun Feb 21, 2010 6:34 pm

if there is one mag brand i will never buy from (free mags for your new gun are fine) is a CA mag, high caps specifically. i have 3 CA m4 varients. all of them came with high caps. 2 of the 4 broke from being dropped, once. they miss feed as well. i find my first couple of shots either going 20 feet or shooting 2 at a time. they piss me off. their mid caps are fine. but i'm waiting for one to drop and split open. they feel like someone loosely slapped on a metal casing, which after looking at the broken high caps, is what it is. i have some plastic ones which stand up way better then my CA's. if your looking for mags or high caps then please stay away from CA.

well that was my spiel. discuss your views on CA mags, me+CA mags=
what are your opinions?

High caps suck a$$, that simple, if you know how to properly conserve your shots a Midcap should be more than enough.

My CA hicaps work well, and I drop them too. Get a midcap if you're having troubles.

High caps are a waste of time, because it only takes one shot to get someone out, not 400.

You are still using a high cap. They suck both as primary and as a back up.

That doesn't make sense. Usually hicaps are backup for if you run out of ammo with mids and can't take out a speedloader at the time...

What platform are you using?
Are you getting stuff other than bb's in them?
Did you spill you bb's on you un-valcumed bedroom floor and then scooped them up and put them in to the magazine?
Or better yet,
Have you let you bio bb's set in you mag between events?

So they swell and clog up you hi-caps/gun..

Before blaming an inanimate object, first look what you are doing.

Hi-caps serve their purpose just fine when you need them.

It's personal preference for everyone, and people just saying "Blah blah Hi-caps suck blah blah." is not doing any good for anyone.

I dislike hi-caps, but on occasion, say I am borrowing my friend's weapon and happened to leave all of my magazines at home, in the case of an AK, they are a HUGE help.

I really don't want to spend the entire game using one midcap, there are more target engagement opportunities than there are rounds in a single midcap.

And yes, I do own a couple Hi-caps, but they were given to me or came with weapons. I use standards and mids.

Any hicap will jam if you fill it with dirt or use shitty BBs.

Or try to fire rocks instead of BBs... no joke, I fixed a hi-cap of my friend's that had about 8 small BB sized rocks jammed in the feed tube.
