Sho nuff... Do you think shooting someone in the leg, would make it impossible for a person to shoot back?

Gator... You don't use less lethal tools, in a situation where you believe a person has a firearm.

Monday morning quarterbacking is easy. Dealing with situations like this, as they happen.... aren't.

Sorry sir, but you do not use a lower level of force against a gun, real or perceived.

I think we should all get one "free kill". (kid, ginger, southpaw or female)

It's only OK to kill a female if you use the whole thing. Otherwise it's wasteful.

Ooh I think a tattoo would look lovely in a frame. Or maybe as a stained glass window kind of thing! Would tattooed skin work like that? I'm not sure.

You would have to scrape some of the layers of skin off and just leave the epidermis. But it should work...

Why is there a trend of people not following the officers' orders? That's what I want to know. Either they're shooting before the kids know what's going on 90% of the time, or EVERY news story that gets exposure features a dead kid who doesn't listen when police are pointing guns at him and shouting.

Either kids really don't care what cops have to say or cops need to give them an extra half second to respond to orders. Being shouted at with a gun pointed at you is stifling and I'm willing to bet plenty of these kids who have been shot were working through the initial shock of the situation when they were shot. It just doesn't make sense otherwise.

Im sure if you shot a 13yo in the leg he would drop his toy gun. NOT shoot back.

Not if they're on a controlled substance, which more and more kids these days are, especially if they're dim enough to bring a gun -- real or fake -- into a school.
@Junto, I agree. Kids being yelled at by anyone typically lock up, and take more time to process what they are being yelled at for. Having that person being a cop pointing a gun at you would just amplify the kids anxiety.

Police are notoriously bad shots. A little body armor and PCP and you're good to go.
