I have my Glock 19 in a Fobus holster on my right hip.

Fobus paddle holster all the way. I have never lost my gun using this holster.

More than what I can say about the fancy drop leg uber tactical swat elite sniper holsters.

It depends on what I feel like wearing. Some games I like the drop leg, but most of the time I prefer it on my hip. I've never lost my pistol. I have a lanyard on it 8)

I vote hip, because I'm looking for a hip holster for my mk.23. :)

It depends on why I am carrying a sidearm, and how much gear I am carrying. If it is impractical to carry the sidearm on my hip, I use a drop-leg holster. If it is practical, then the sidearm goes on my hip. If it is impractical to carry it in either location for whatever reason, then a crossdraw. Lately, for various reasons, I have been wearing my drop-leg holster.

The fun part about Web-Tex Assault British DPM Tactical Vest is that there is a zipper compartment with a holster under the front ledt section of the vest. It works well. So, cross draw.

Got my USP on a shitty drop-leg holster, but I really want/need to upgrade to a much nicer one.
