"Airsoft Outlet NW (OR) and Airsplat (WA) are making extra efforts to urge that we move forward full speed ahead. With their extra support, we just need 50 more pax and we can still make this a GO. Think guys, if it's US heavy, Russians are gonna have a very Target Rich environment.....lol"

It looks like there is still a pretty good possibility that this event will move forward. Also, if only 100 people show up it will leave a lot of room for each force to move around, and may improve gameplay.

Unless you're not wearing eye protection, 600fps is the hard limit for any bit of safety issues with point blank firing.

I won't go because of the pricetag, but I'm curious to see how it turns out. The building looks cool enough.

I heard there was a 100' MED for bolts. But when I looked at the LC page it wasn't listed that way. Anyone know if it's true?

I've heard most likely there will be no sniper or support. To improve flow.

I like John Lu, he's a great guy. I'll have a beer with him at Shot Show any time. I can see that he really cares about and enjoys the hobby. That said, there's absolutely nothing proprietary about Lion Claws events that the promoters in this area cannot do themselves. But I suppose that's true about any game and any promoter.

If you are on the fence about whether or not you can afford this event, or whether you should afford this event - talk to people who've been to LC events. Don't ask a sponsor or somebody helping organize the game, just ask the players. I really hope that Red Storm makes a bigger splash than Tradewinds and I wish LC the best in success at the event, but I don't think I'll be attending and I doubt I could drum up any interest from APST.

I'm 1 for 4 right now. If all the games were like LC 11, that would be amazing. I loved that event, it was one of the best I've ever attended. Unfortunately, 3 others were not. Whatever they did at LC 11, they should just do THAT every time.

For those not on FaceBook, OP: Red Storm has been moved to June. This was LC's original target date, and was shifted once permission was received from the property owners. The new dates, as posted on FaceBook, are June 13-15th.

OP Lion Claws East Coast Director of Operations, and East Coast game designer Greg Brothers will be at Airsoft Outlet NW this afternoon doing a Q&A to answer any questions players have and take suggestions as well.
