Largest AP OP Ever?

Postby Tian Nam » Fri Mar 14, 2014 4:11 pm

I know Operation: Solomon's Pass had approximately 367 players. Have any OP's been bigger since then?
That was my first AP game I had ever been to. I was 14 years old and used my ICS MP5A4. Great memories. Anyone else remember that game?

It's been 7 years since then. I recently returned home from serving a 2 year church mission in Florida and Georgia and am excited to get back to some games!

You can see me at 0:10-11seconds into the video. Woodland boonie.

Well if all 365+ or whatever it is from RR come to Easter Rising, than it will be that one.

I thought Mad Dog (just before I started all those years ago) was the biggest one held... Huh.

And R&R is not big enough for 365+ people...

I believe Steel Talon was the largest with 405ish.

Solomon's Pass
Steel Talon
Mad Dog

all were 350+

Jester he means Rushing Russians not R&R. It's refers to something Darius said in that game thread for Easter Rising.

I think the final count including staff was more than 420. It was the largest turnout but it definitely wasn't the best game. I remember lots of complaints, it was really way too many people to cram into that field. The original Grid 18 was one of my favorite games of all time, 188 player count, raining and hailing off and on all day. Made for an awesome video.

i had fun and was glad to be there.... my teammates at the time however....did not like the game play and sportsmanship of the other side so they left. i didnt feel like standing on the field alone...so i left to.

i was still there and still participated.

Of those I think Mad Dog wad the best. At Solomon's Pass we had to deal with Shadow Fox, and Steel Talon was crazy unbalanced.

My favorite video too!
