Good Military Documentaries/Series

Here are some quality documentary series that I've found about military operations in Afghanistan. They have minor narration and some decent action footage. All of these are available to view on Youtube. If anyone knows of some other good series or films, post them here.

Battleground Afghanistan:
Narrated by Keith David, this series follows a company of U.S. Marines undergoing several patrols and missions in Afghanistan. Decent amount of combat footage, with interviews with the Marines. The interviews show the attempted bravado of the men, and their desire to kill the enemy; but a different side is shown during the combat footage.

Royal Marines: Mission Afghanistan
A unique look into the lives of the U.K.'s Royal Marine commandos while on tour in Afghanistan. The filmmaker narrates as he goes on missions and patrols with the soldiers, showing the professionalism and training that they have. I found this series to be especially interesting when contrasting it to the fighting of U.S. Marines, in the way that the commandos operate without the aid of tanks or air support. The harsh reality of war sets in when you develop connections with the men through interviews, only to learn that some of them died after (or even during) filming.

Inside Combat Rescue
This series follows U.S. Air Force Pararescue Jumpers, or PJ's, in their deployment to Afghanistan's Kandahar Airbase. There are about 2-3 rescue missions per episode, the rest of the time depicts the soldiers' lives on base. Each episode introduces new soldiers, and shows their personal lives alongside the stresses of being a PJ. Almost all the footage is from cameras placed on the helicopters, or GoPros on the soldiers gear, as cameramen would take up valuable space. The intensity and stress of each mission is well communicated, despite there being little actual combat involved.
