Hey Vern, what's that pattern?

Charlie, if you still have that pic of you in the tree, you should post it.

But the correct answer is ATACS-FG, or whatever the child soldier has on, I want that.

IMO the new batch of modern camouflage patterns really don't improve on standard M81 Woodland all that much. Back when that was one of very few options, we used to disappear wearing that stuff.

Concealment is also about more than your BDU blouse and trousers too. So many players go buy the next big fancy camo pattern only to wear it with solid colored load-bearing equipment or helmets, defeats the purpose of even wearing the camo at all.

Also, face paint is a must.

I'm a fan of Kryptek for style and Multicam for practicality.

The lack of periods in the above post caused me to ignore it, so if he said something similar to what I'm going to say, my apologies.

There is no "most effective camo." There is "good camo for this area" and "good camo for that area."

M81, for example, works great in the woods but the ducks would laugh their a$$ off at me as they flew away if I tried to use it in the marsh.

In other words, you need to specify the location you want camo for.

Ah LOL, Matt I was gonna say woodies, but then I was like "Matt will wanna go with this."

Getting predictable? :D

Not trying to derail this, but I have a question.

Do we all see the same adds at the bottom of the screen? Cuz there seems to be a disproportionate amount of ads offering marriage to Russian and Muslim women. Do they think that Nerds are that lonely, or is my phone judging me?

My experience in the PNW is that Multicam, or Marpat works well. Realistically, your actions make your camo work....move slow and deliberate, pause and take in your surroundings. Remember the human eye is a predatory eye, so it picks up on movement more quickly than patterns.

this is a fact ive flanked alot of peeps just moving slowly and carfully. sound is a big factor aswell. as i said in another post. the eye sees shapes and silluettes. so breaking up the shape of your body is important too. if you are wearing lets say marpat with a marpat rig you become a dark blob but if you break it up with a tan rig then the eye sees smaller dark spots and the lighter area becomes backround breaking up the silluette.

That's what I thought, and that's why I'm confused.

Cuz I only go to amputee & clown dating sites, you would think my pooter' would know the difference?

Adblock plugin yo. No ads anywhere.

Best visually appealing pattern, M81, Arid MARPAT.

Most effective pattern for 90% of airsoft fields we play on: M81/Temp MARPAT in the winter/spring, Multicam/WOPTARN in the summer, Flecktarn/Aplenflauge in the fall.
