I just wanted to address a few things about skirmishes.

When having a game. Respawns should never be at objectives. They should allways be away from them.

Why have respawns?
I think players are more willing to call hits. If they know they can get back in the game. A person shot in the first few minutes of a game. Might hesitate to call hit. If they know they're done.

Most non re-spawn games end up with two guys camping. While everyone else is sitting in the dead pool. So.... now you have to put a time limit on the game.

What's wrong with that?

Well now you have to start and stop every hour. Go over the rules for a new game. Get everyone back into playing. Find all the people that went back to their cars (to eat, reload, whatever...) It's a big headache...

Most games you can get 3 maybe 4 games out of people if you're lucky. It's easier to have 1 non respawn game(depending on the field) and 2 respawn games. It keeps people active and playing. Instead of getting bored and tired. While you may find yourself killing the same people several times but, I find it's enjoyable every time I shoot them.

Skirms are good for working on tactics, killing mass amounts of people, and hanging with friends. I think I enjoy skirms the most. They're alot more casual and alot more fun.

Mil-sim is a hard thing to put together all the time. There's only so many scenarios to do (blow this up, rescue this guy, find a pilot, escort that guy, secure this vitally important object)

I will play almost any kind of airsoft game. The only things that really matters is being respectful and, calling our hits.

Well said, Kevin. That sums up my feelings pretty well, too.

That makes ma all warm and fuzzy inside.
Please buy your gear from Rick Fisher; perhaps he can buy a Life.

If you split the playing field in half you could do this: When you get shot and go to your respawn, enter field #2 if you were previously in field #1 and vise versa. Anybody that was at Kitty Paws 24 might remember how some of that played out, quite nicely in my mind.

I think from here on I'm just going to PM Dantes with my ideas so that I don't get slammed for going to far off topic, which I know I do. Sometimes I just want to talk about my feelings, my sex life, and how much I love working with people to make the world a better place.

.....yeah, right.

I was refering to something weeks ago, it most definately had nothing to do with anything you have ever said to me. I picked on a teenager here and got a finger pointed at me for being a sarcastic a$$.

I was actually trying to make a joke about it.

I think my humor is a little dry lately, like the last 15 years or so. I'll have to work on it a tad.

You are on my list of good people Catch22, you'd have to really hurt my feelings to get off the list.

;)
