I wish there was a "all of the above" option. I'm already doing a 'Ongoing Campaign Style Competition' (in the form of the Gangland Trilogy). All the indoors stuff we've been doing lately has been kind of burning me out, and I've been thinking more and more about the great outdoors (and I've heard that sentiment echoed a few times across the community), but the gigantic outdoor operation of doom thing . . . it needs a new 'spin'. The past few that I've been to have effectively degenerated into massive gunbattles. I know that a significant portion of the community just wants to run and gun, without a whole lot of thought about it - and a 'successful' operation needs to be very well ballanced between run-and-gun, and military-simulation - and thats something real hard to achieve. Even the best of us are easily drawn to the sound of the guns, and when half your squad is hearing gunfire its real hard to hold them back to guard the bridge.

voted for running campaigns... Just sounds awesome. But yeah, a few more outdoor games would be great...

I loved G18 so I voted for large force on force OP's. However, just as alex said, I wish there was an all of the above or at least some way to vote for more than one. I certainly agree with alex and want more ways to eliminate the massive gunbattles that these OP's can degenerate into, with more tactical solutions than run and gun.

I voted for larger force on force OPs. I would love to see more of those scheduled.

I voted for larger force on force OPs. I thought Grid 18 and C- ridge was fun and would love to do another one.

Force on force engagements rock.

Ongoing campaigns are a close second.

I'd like to see more training and more team competitions against an actor force like CQC and Enduring Horizon.

I endorse ongoing campaigns and storylines... as long as they involve shooting people.

I want to see large OP's, or just more games all around. I know its not AP's responsability to host games, but the games you host turn out really good.

i prefer invite only games, they are easier to deal with and allows for more detailed "missions". when the number of participants get too large you end up with too many a$$ hats to keep track of.

I agree with Terror Management, but also would like to see large scale ops like OP:CR, and some of the Ops last summer like Advantage Livewire.

Bently, AP would host more games but it seems like a lot of other people are putting them up lately. I've sort of taken advantage of that for a little bit of a break. Not to worry though, we'll still be running 4-5 big OPs a year plus our CQC competition as always.

"Asshat Management" has always been an issue with major OPs. If enough serious teams show up with a desire to do it right, 90% of the time the asshats fall in line and do what they should... But you always have a few idiots.
