Not as old as ME.

"Cheap" guns aren't the same animals they were when this thread started.
I LAUGHED at the first Aftermath/Stunt Studios guns. Bought one anyway.
Not a bad item for the $149 Fry's price.
Big5 had them "on sale" for $149 six months later. Bought another -Hey, the thing looks better than the last one.
Bought Aftermath Kirinex #5 at Fry's recently. Again, fit and finish is coming up. Packaging followed, nice job. Much for ME to learn from watching this process.

The truly "crap" guns are effectively extinct. If you can find one, it's old stock. Even WELL has gotten tired of returns, and is shipping better product.
CYMA could have gone with a name change, their latest offerings don't deserve the stigma. Anybody who bought a CYMA 3 years ago probably laughs hard at the CYMA M1A1.
Unless they've gotten to evaluate one for themselves.
Mine's getting a P40 paintjob today.
I have more toys...than anybody...Google my name.

Killbucket, don't take any offense to this question. Have you ever payed more than $200 for one AEG? It seams like you always work on MPEGs and budget priced guns.

I paid Over $400 for my Marui Tommy.
Then watched $150 copies turn out to be pretty good. I have 2 now.
I just prefer to have many toys, rather than a few cherished ones. Life is short.

Yeah, but Ian's a weirdo that likes the building process more than the finished product. ;) I'll take my cherished few AEGs over a squadron of Zergling AEGs.

Hey, some of my best friends are weirdos...
Now I have to go Google what a Zergling is.
They're probably affordable, huh?

When I used to have spare time, I played the first Starcraft.
Never even LOOKED at the manual. Zerg was a new word for me!

Gotta admit... I dig it.

You have some impressive painting skills, KB.

And how did you play starcraft without knowing what zerg was?!

Funniest thing is, they chrono that thing with .12's

Actually .2 chrono is 350-360.
