Dead Presidents Movie

Hey guys I am trying to figure out what kind of shotgun the main character uses when he is on the Force Recon team in Vietnam. It has a heat shield on the top and a very defined notch to the rear of the pump handguard. It also has what appears to be a bayonet lug and possibly an extended magazine. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks

In Vietnam didn't they have like two choices? Ithaca M37 and M1897? I usually see the M1897 with Bayonet and Heat shield.

Actually I got the answer on Arnie's already. It was apparently an M500 with a few specialized pieces, such as the heat shield and the extended mag.

The ole M1897 had been put out to pasture long before Nam. (even though it is my favorite) It's the one that made the Germans complain pretty hard in the trenches of WWI.

If I was going to pack a shotgun into combat, it would be the Remington 870...........hands down.
