That's what current reproduction BD costs. I'm picking up a set in the future simply because I want a new-looking and accurate set. I prefer to buy things new and wear 'n' tear them in myself... I dunno, just means more to me.

Even 1950s BD is getting more expensive and harder to find in sizes larger than Munchkin... and its rarely new.

Webbing is fairly inexpensive if you keep an eye on Ebay. The P37 Small Pack is the least common piece to find and the most expensive. There is Greek and Indian-made post war items that are close enough for airsoft purposes and cheaper.

WWII airsoft is expensive to some, and WORTH IT to others! You should want to do it correct because you're representing forefathers on all fronts.

For finding information: (not to be a prick) but have your heard of a library?
Games, and movies, and even some documentaries aren't even right! Find books of actual soldiers, not reenactors or actors! It will save you time, money, and dignity! (show up at a event majorly made up of reenactors, and history buff in farbish gear, and you'll understand what I meant on losing your dignity).
Hope my harsh, but constructive critisim will help you in the long run. Try ww2aa.proboards.com , ask around there and they'll have links to uniforms and gear, but when it comes to finding the real history, they'll tell you the same thing
I'm a Texan born and bred, how in the hell did I end up in the liberal and socialist d@mned Pacific NW!?!?!
