Electronicaly detonated charge in the barrel, wired back into the turret.

The german admin on the tank would then radio where the tank fired to an allied admin and the allied admin would toss a charge at the location. Anyone within 5 paces had to apply their bandages and call for a medic.

It was loud.

I'm in awe. That TM vers7 box is such a cool little piece of crap. CA may put metal bodies and fancy bearings on aegs but TM truly leads the way in tech.
