I would like to take this opportunity to announce that we have started a new team here in the Northwest. Double Tap is being started by myself and JJ Juggert. Yes the name comes from Zombieland, and yes we are kind of ripping off the names, but that's kind of for comedic effect more then anything! We currently have a total of 6 members and may be looking to expand our ranks some. More often then not you will find us at the big outdoor games around the Portland area. We may be new but we are looking to be one of the better teams in the Northwest soon. Don't believe it? Just wait!
As a team we tend to be more on the sneaky side of things. You likely will not see us in the middle of the big middle of the field fights that go on (which may have us a little under the radar as a team) but we do find plenty people to shoot all the same. We are all about finding our way to the a$$ end of our enemy and showing them first hand why eyes on the back of your head would be so damned awesome! Many a time we have walked up on the good end of a big fight and helped capture the base without even some of our team knowing we were there. If this is your style then that would be great!
When looking for new members we would want to see someone is patient and quiet. Not really fans of having a noisy tag along that gets us all shot!
(As you may notice if you read through our forum here, we are not above trying to ruffle a couple feathers, not that it happens all that well. But it's all in good fun.)
Changing up the post here a little. As a team we have primarily run the woodland or PMC teams. But we could be open to other ideas as well....
Current team load out for outdoor:
Tallahassee: Echo 1 M4
KWA M9
Well MB06 (Ugliest gun on the team)
Colombus: Army L85 (Meanest looking gun on the team)
Echo 1 m4
Springfield: Classic Army M24 sniper:
Echo 1 Scar L
KWA 1911
J&G G36C
Syracuse: Classic Army SA58 (Sexiest painted gun on the team)
Off brand 1911
Chris: (Team name pending)
J&G G36C
Thomas: (Team name pending)
Whatever spare guns the rest of us are not using.
We are not going to require any gun type or load out at the moment just that it be a competitive gun. If you want to build a cell phone gun that shoots 370fps and holds 250 rounds per mag and you can use it good enough to be an asset, that's good enough. We are looking for good players, not just good guns or load outs.
However if someone has a M249 or M60......We might refer to the part about some rules are meant to be broken...
We are based out of Oregon City but will happily take members from the surrounding areas. If you are interested at all send me a message and we can talk.
Things we are looking for:
*Honest players who enjoy playing the game, but don't take it too seriously.
*MUST have a great sense of humor!
*Must be a good team player!
*Must not be better then any of us! We have big egos and do not like being shown up!!!!!
